Introduction to the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series

About the Event
Ashtanga Vinyasa is a very powerful, dynamic, and disciplined practice. This course was designed for those who would like to have a deep understanding of the primary series and for those who wish to develop a safe and intuitive daily mysore practice.
This course is suitable for students of all levels as it will be modified to your ability and existing knowledge of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa practice.
The course will provide you with the fundamentals: history, philosophy, the sequence, methodology behind the sequence, proper breath, use of bandhas, concept of vinyasa, and drishtis.
This program will run for 4 weeks and will consist of 3 classes per week each running 1.5 hours in length. Participants can choose to attend morning classes on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (9:00-10:30AM) or evening classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (7:30-9:00pm). Students are requested to register in advance as space will be limited.
